Why did you start blogging? Day 1!

Hmm. Well, hi! I’m Candace. This is my first blog type thing since I had my LiveJournal…which I kind of fell off of about two years ago? Last year? I don’t remember.

A little bit about me:

-Just turned 30!
-Toddler teacher at a daycare center
-Loves professional wrestling, women’s basketball, Batman…and many more things
-Working desperately at maintaining positivity!
-Has Generalized Anxiety Disorder and combined type ADHD

There’s a bunch more, but those are the most important, I guess. I live in Minnesota with my boyfriend of seven years. I’ll probably talk about four specific children a lot. They’re my babies. I don’t have any children yet, but these four are pretty much family and I adore them and love them and talk about them a lot.

Anyway, the title! I found a list of 105 writing prompts for a blog and I think I’m going to try it out.

I miss having my LJ and I figured typing out this stuff would help me as well.

So, why am I blogging? To help myself, to maybe help others, to have a specific spot for my thoughts, to talk about my favorite things, to get back into documenting things. I have a lot of reasons for doing this, but I guess the main reason is for myself. With my anxiety and my mind running a million miles an hour, all day, every day, I felt the need to maybe find a way to put my thoughts into something.

I guess that’s it for now. I hope everyone who reads this is looking forward to this journey, like I am. I’m going to try my hardest to maintain this every day. I look forward to getting to share myself with you, my readers, and having somewhere to put all my thoughts down!
